About True Cost
True Cost runs in your browser: tools for checkout totals, subscription stacks, habits, and work hours behind a price. No account and no bank sync—you enter what you know, the page does the math.
Why this exists
The site exists to reduce autopilot. Most mistakes around money are not dramatic; they are gradual—an extra fee here, a subscription there, a routine you never totaled. The tools are intentionally simple so you can use them once, use them often, or ignore them until you need them—without signing in.
Notes
Occasional short notes on how we think about spending, habits, and the gap between price and cost—practical, not preachy. No funnel, no content mill.
What might come next
Later, True Cost may add optional helpers that turn your own inputs into a few plain-language reflections—still private-by-default and still not advice. Nothing that replaces your judgment; something that helps you phrase what you already suspect.
Colophon
Built with Astro and small React islands. Available in English, Czech, and Russian. Currencies selectable per session. No accounts in this version; analytics only if the deploy turns it on. Just pages you can load and read.
Contact
Ideas, press, and gentle corrections belong in Notes. Blank screens, wrong totals, and pages that stop you belong in Help.
The same small hands read both inboxes. A few days for a reply is common; thank you for the patience.
